Women Empowerment Program

Teka implemented women empowerment program targeting to local women in Champi Village, Lalitpur in 2001 giving literacy and micro enterprise training to uplift local livelihood and enhance literacy skills.Teka as a Consultant provided Livelihoods Promotion Training to Local Social Mobilizers under Kanchenjunga Conservation Area Project in 2007 at Phungling-Taplejung District.Teka technically assisted to Tiger Rhino Conservation Project executed by former King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation (KMTNC) now called as NTNC, with the funding support from UNDP/GEF in 2003 where Teka designed and delivered numbers of training on literacy, saving credit and legal awareness to community forest user group women at Saurah, Chitwan.
